Re-Furbished Vanity Stool

Remember the fluffy topped vanity stools from the 60's?
Well this one has had a facelift
looks very shabby chic.
It has been painted a high gloss white
seat is made with a new sturdy base, new foam, wadding and wool batting
covered in a durable gorgeous floral fabric.

A beautiful addition to any room for use or just for decoration.

Getting Creative

Well it has been a while since my last post but I thought I would inform everyone who reads this that I have started my own little Etsy store. It will list handmade items that I have made plus some vintage items. Will see how we go, but I do enjoy making these things so nothing to lose.
Below is one of my little whimsies, I will be making mobiles, pram/cot garlands, cushion covers and more?

Feel free to go and have a browse and ask any questions you might have..

Thanks for looking..

Have a great day xx

I have returned...

It seems like forever since I have posted on my blog. I have decided to give it another go, not sure how many people visit me but I am doing it for myself as a memory bank for my favourite things.

We recently went to Beautiful Tasmania and I have posted a few of my favourite pics I took, there are so many but will post a few here and there. I need to find more time to enjoy what I love which is taking photos, craft, cooking and trying to be as self sustainable as possible. I look at so many other peoples blogs and they are so inspiring, I get jealous of their life and abilities but I only have myself to blame for not giving it a go. I hope you do visit more often and enjoy what I have to offer and maybe even be inspired occasionally.

The picture on my blog header is another one I took, I just love it..I will try and be back at least once a week....no promises lol.

Have a great day. xx

Creative Edge

Yesterday I attended Creative Edge which was held here in South Australia. It consisted of a full day of Scrapping fun with 3 classes held by Kate Mason, Janine Koczwara and Steph Devlin. I was very excited to do Kate Mason's class as I have admired her work for ages. I enjoyed all of them and learn alot of new techniques and use of products I haven't considered before such as glimmermist, mediums, napkins etc. I don't normally get messy and get so involved but I did enjoy it and hope to use these techniques more often.

Here is one layout I have completed which was from Steph's class. Very bright for me but I don't mind the result. We used glimmermist on the Prima trellis roses which was lots of fun, I do love the result of those.

I hope to get the other layout of Janine's and the gorgeous Prima album of Kate's finished real soon and will upload for you to see.
